Road To WrestleMania 28 : Hell In A Cell | The Undertaker vs Triple H Wallpaper

The Apocalypse Is Now.
You know there’s two sides to every coin? WrestleMania 28 holds true to that saying. On one side you have the ‘colorful’ media-frenzy, Icon vs Icon rivalry between The Rock and John Cena with its mainstream appeal. On the other side of the ‘coin’ though is the darker, more sinister side of WrestleMania 28. It’s a match that caters to the core pro-wrestling fanatics and the ones who realize the rich history behind this epic rivalry. On April 1st, The Undertaker will battle Triple H in more than just an Icon vs Icon match. It’ll be a legendary showdown of warriors from a vanishing breed, an end of an era, and in the Deadman’s own words…it’ll be “the apocalypse”. And every historic second of it will take place inside WWE’s signature structure, infamously known as none other than Hell In A Cell.
Forget about the Cell matches you witnessed during those Hell In A Cell PPVs. Those were basically the “Lite” versions of the real thing. A real Cell match isn’t about mashing your opponent’s face into the cage walls or creating shock-value by tossing them into the steel. A true Cell match is about being faced with true, merciless competition inside a confined structure. It’s about twisted, contorted, yet illustrious history between two iconic superstars coming to a pinnacle point inside an iron battleground from which there is little to no escape. It’s about hearing and feeling the pain of past battles radiating off the Cell’s frightening confines, then channeling those echoes as a way to create psychological warfare with your nemesis. Hell In A Cell, by itself, is cruel irony personified because it is within this closed, caged behemoth of a structure in which superstars unleash their inner beasts and prove once and for all who the better man is. And no two men deserve to be inside the ‘belly of the beast’ right now more than The Undertaker and the only man that will face the Phenom for his third time at WrestleMania, Triple H.
You rarely come across a WWE event where you’re unsure of what the real main-event is. While The Rock vs John Cena is what the event is being built around, there’s no denying that Hell In A Cell is the match that will steal the show. The history behind this match goes far deeper than just Undertaker and Triple H. There’s also the war between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, which seems to come alive again every time these two stand in the ring together. Then there’s the underlying silent feud between Triple H and Shawn Michaels; the closest of friends with the need to always be the best of the best. With HBK working as the special referee, anything could happen once the bell rings. The Undertaker’s unprecedented 19-0 could probably end up being permanent, never reaching the much-anticipated 20-0 mark. But then again, who’s to say Shawn won’t feel the need to stop Triple H from doing what the ‘Showstopper’ couldn’t, thereby taking away his best friend’s bragging rights once and for all.
No matter what happens, it’s true that this match will be the end of an era. We’ll know once and for all who the better superstar is once the match is over. It’ll be a brutal battle to the finish, and mark my words by the end of it you will know why guys like The Undertaker are considered the best in the business, and why we’ll probably never have a superstar like him ever again.
