I know I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again for the sake of this new wallpaper: Air Boom are awesome. The pairing of Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne together makes for one seriously high-octane tag team that’s fun to watch and more fun to cheer for. In case you haven’t heard the rumors, the duo are said to be in a bit of a fix backstage over recent “issues” with Bourne’s suspension, so unfortunately this tag team may not last much longer…IF the rumors are true that is. Nevertheless, I couldn’t let this team slide without making a wallpaper for them so check it out below!
To be honest, I think WWE should cut these two some slack. I understand that they want to set an example, but Air Boom is the best thing that has happened to the (lackluster at best) Tag Team division since the early 2000′s. That’s just sad. WWE were supposedly going to give the division a massive overhaul last year and it looked like it was finally happening with teams like Air Boom and Awesome Truth springing into action, but just like every other decent thing in WWE these days, the initiative seems to have lost most of its steam. And now with rumblings of Bourne being in hot soup / deep sh*t, we may lose the only decent thing that has happened to the failing tag division in the last 10 years.
We’ll see if Kingston and Bourne are able to retain the titles against their contenders from SmackDown!. I sincerely hope they do. We need more good tag teams like this to watch and enjoy. A good tag-team bout is as good as any main event match, and with adrenaline-pumped superstars like Kofi and Evan on one end pulling off some of the most gravity-defying moves you’ve ever seen, there’s no reason why these two shouldn’t pioneer the new tag team era.
