The Greatest Show On Earth Comes Home!
Is it just me, or did 2012 zoom-by faster than Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus at last year’s WrestleMania? I’m not sure how the hell we got to 2013 so fast, but I’m glad we’re here for a couple of reasons. One, it’s always nice to start fresh with a brand new year. Two, the Road To WrestleMania has officially begun! And that means, more often than not, that we’re in for some big, landscape-altering feuds, from now till the moment Lilian Garcia opens the show in April!

One, it’s always nice to start fresh with a brand new year. Two, the Road To WrestleMania has officially begun! And that means, more often than not, that we’re in for some big, landscape-altering feuds, from now till the moment Lilian Garcia opens the show in April!
Here’s the thing, though; last year’s WrestleMania set the benchmark pretty high and the guys at WWE are going to have to muster something bigger and grander this year. After all, they are going back to their famed home turf, in a stadium that boasts a capacity larger than that of Sun Life Stadium in Miami or any of the years before. WWE are going to have to make this a spectacle that rivals last year’s monumental WrestleMania. It has to rival Undertaker vs Triple H inside Hell In A Cell and The Rock vs John Cena in their iconic match-up. And I can’t wait to see how they strive to do it!
Is Stone Cold going to return to the ring for one more match? The season seems ripe with opportunity for the renegade Steve Austin to make a comeback and whoop some post-Attitude Era ass. Or is The Rock going to stare into the eyes of an enemy he has yet to defeat, in the form of Brock Lesnar! Or maybe John Cena will win the Royal Rumble, as promised, and head on to face The Rock at WrestleMania 29 for the WWE Championship…if the Rock wins against Punk at the Rumble, that is. And what about the Phenom? What about The Undertaker? Will the Deadman rise again to slay another opponent and add one more name to the almighty Streak? Will he make an appearance without a match? The anticipation has already begun to bubble under the collective surface of the WWE Universe, ready to explode, and the number of possibilities is exciting beyond belief!
Let’s hope WWE goes all out to make this, truly, the grandest show on earth.
